I was born in Uruguay into a family with a long artistic tradition. At the beginning of the 20th century, my great-grandfather Giuseppe Taddei, a Swiss painter and sculptor, moved to South America, where he completed numerous public commissions, leaving a deep imprint on our family’s cultural identity.

Growing up between two continents and being immersed in my family’s artistic heritage, I always loved the fine arts—a love that continues to inspire me. This passion has instilled in me a strong inner clarity and a profound need to express what stirs within me. I studied art with dedication, even though my path was not formally academic. I took courses in Art History while pursuing a professional career in the economic sector. This dual path led me to work on cultural project programming for a well known radio station in Montevideo.

During that time, I collaborated with the Italian Cultural Institute in organising theatre festivals for the company “La Piccionaia – I Carrara. Teatro Stabile di Innovazione” of Vicenza. In 2003, I moved in the Canton of Ticino and began painting to express my 'invisible world”, rich in images and colours transformed by the intensity of emotions. During this introspective period, I attended courses in painting, sculpture and calligraphy, creating my first series of canvas paintings inspired by my vivid dreams and inner exploration.

I developed a style that blends energy and harmony, expressing vital force and a deep longing for balance. Since 2019, my work has evolved toward a more abstract language, exploring a new freedom of expression. This shift allows me to translate experiences, emotions and memories into works that become liberating and authentic expressions of myself. In 2024, I decided to share my creations with the public by organising my first solo exhibition “Timeless Images” in Lugano. A few months later, I opened my own art studio, conceived as a space where art and philosophy intertwine.

My works were selected for the twentieth edition of Paratissima in Turin as part of the “Unpredictable” exhibition. Recently, I have had the pleasure of working on several events in collaboration with other artists. This experience has been incredibly rewarding and fuels my creativity. I firmly believe that working with diverse individuals not only enriches my artistic journey but also creates extraordinary opportunities for sharing ideas and inspiration.
